Foster, Adoptive, & Kinship Caregiver Support Group

Parenting is hard, but there is a new level of challenges when you are caring for children involved with the child welfare system. There is additional trauma, co-parenting with primary families, parental and sibling visitation, and so much more that you have to navigate and cope with.

YWCA of Northwest Ohio's foster, adoptive, and kinship family support group is a safe space for you to receive support from other families with similar lived experiences. Our staff will come prepared with a couple of topics, but they will conduct a poll to see what topic is needed most at the time. We are here to support you along your caregiving journey.
