LONDON PROG WALK 28/06/25 - THE SOUTH BANK

The annual London Prog Gigs ‘Prog Walk’ social event this year will be on Saturday 28th June. As always it's all quite informal - and you don't have to do the Genesis thing! We’ll meet at The George (London’s only surviving medieval galleried coaching inn) near London Bridge station for lunch (optional), and set off at 3pm for a leisurely 4-mile walk along the Thames South Bank, past many interesting sites including Borough Market, Southwark Cathedral, Shakespeare’s Globe, Royal Festival Hall, the London Eye and more, ending up at the iconic (especially for we Prog fans!) Battersea Power Station, which is now a shopping and leisure destination with shops, bars and restaurants. If you fancy a little more walking, Battersea Park is nearby, or travel onwards from Battersea Power Station station on the Northern line. It doesn’t matter if you don't know anybody, just turn up - the only requirement is that you have an interest in progressive music!
Please indicate ‘interested’ or ‘going’ and keep an eye out for notifications. See you there!
