Join us as we celebrate the heart of Charlotte County Reads—our amazing Reading Buddies volunteers!
This special luncheon honors your dedication to helping local students succeed in reading and in life.

Reading Buddies is part of Charlotte County Reads—a community collaboration between United Way of Charlotte County, Charlotte County Public Schools, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast, YMCA of Charlotte County, and The Boys & Girls Clubs of Charlotte County. Together, we’re helping young students in grades K–3 build strong reading skills and make important learning gains—so every child has the chance to read at grade level and thrive.

🎓 About the Program:
Reading Buddies pairs students with caring mentors who help break down barriers to reading success, because when a child learns to read, they unlock a lifetime of opportunity.
