Join us for a special Saturday afternoon screening of this classic 1971 British comedy starring Arthur Lowe, John Le Mesurier and Clive Dunn about our favourite Walmington-on-Sea Home Guard preparing to defend dear old England from an enemy invasion during World War Two.
The film (and TV series) also stars Arnold Ridley as Private Godfrey who wrote the original 1923 play that our last film, The Ghost Train, was based on.
There will be an interval during the film featuring original 1940s news coverage along with tea or coffee served with cake made using an original wartime recipe.
