Danish Open 2026

Danish Open is an old kickboxing tournament held by Aalborg Martial Arts. It started off as a small match cup sized event but grew bigger each year. We have had big events; we have had small events. Ranging from 80 to 300 fighters. Hopefully 2026 will be a big event once again. We hope to see as many of you as possible, and welcome everyone. We wish to host a great event, meet new fighters, coaches and clubs and strengthen the international kickboxing scene.
Fair fighting concept: ringsport fights will be seperated in A and B class. A class is 7 or more fights, B class are 6 fights or less. Not relevant for tatami.
Information about Aalborg:
Aalborg is Denmarks fourth largest city with a population of 144.000. An ancient city where Viking ships once sailed past on the Limfjord. Aalborg has evolved to a vibrant cultural hotspot with a spectacular waterfront of iconic architectural buildings. The New York Times even put Aalborg in its Top 10 Places to Go in 2019. Visit the city, enjoy a meal at one of our many restaurants, visit the famous Jomfru Ane Gade party street (+18), Aalborg Zoo or go shopping in the city centre. See Hjelmerstald, Jens Bangs Stenhus, monasterys and many other historical buildings.

’’The fact that Aalborg was placed no. 8 on the New York Times’ list of places in the world that deserved a visit is no coincidence. Aalborg is simply something special. A pocket-sized city with international stature, where attractions and things to do stand in line. You’ll need all your senses here.’’
