Wheel Work (Pottery) Weekend

Join the Village for a weekend of playing with clay through learning the basics of pottery wheelwork. This workshop will be held over two mornings amongst the peppermint trees of Torbay, covering the process of turning clay into wheel thrown pottery pieces ready for the kiln.

Time: 9am -12pm

Dates: 30th and 31st of August

Location: Torbay Hall

Saturday:

- Introduction to clay and the ceramic process
- Wheel throwing

Sunday:

- Trimming pieces
- Decoration techniques
- Handles

Both days will include vegan snacks, mindfulness activities and nourishing drinks.

We would be honoured to share our love for wheel throwing and pottery with you. This is an extremely limited offering, with a very small class size to ensure appropriate guidance and support. No pottery experience required.
