Art School was heaven On finishing my course in 1959 I was taken on by a new York agent as a children’s book illustrator and worked through her until she retired in 1998, and from 1972 I was contracted by the ABC and WA Health Department, also becoming a designer and crafts-man in a stained glass business in Perth, and taught the craft at the Fremantle Art Centre and in its remote WA educational programs.
