Orchids of the Huachuca Mountains

Most of us probably think of orchids growing in tropical climates in the Caribbean, South American, and Hawaii. Are you surprised to learn they also grow in the Huachuca Mountains?
James Mustard, President of the Friends of the Huachuca Mountains, will be the speaker for this program. James will share a list of orchid species found in the Huachucas. He will also discuss the impacts of climate change on these plants, their protection status, and why they are important to our ecology.
