The day culminates with a Knight Tournament.

Armoured Combat Tournament Knights & Warriors compete to win the favour of being declared the Protector of the Realm by our Monarchs (2 lucky audience members).


Each section is 15 minutes long


Steps in Becoming a Knight, Learn how Knights are made, from their first job as a young boy to the pinnacle of the Dubbing Ceremony.

Ancient Warriors showcases 5 different warriors from the 8th century Norse Vikings to the 16th century Knight wearing Plate armour.

Falconry by Gryphon and his red-tailed hawk Valor. Gryphon talks about falconry through the ages and how it relates to Knights.

Crime and Punishment with Mistress Jayne. Our favourite executioner's assistant relays some of her most cherished torture and punishment devices. Volunteers are most welcome

Dragons and Creatures with Gaasyendietha. Our dragon handlers talk about various types of Dragons throughout history concluding the First Nations Dragon that inhabits Lake Ontario. They also talk about some mythical creatures. What creatures did Knights battle?

Greatsword Action by the Royal Guard Lady Elisabeth. Lady Elisabeth not only shows the benefits of the greatsword (and all its names throughout Europe) but also demonstrates how effective it was using it against a band of brigands as they try to K*ll the noble that she is sworn to protect - the Knightbas and bodyguard
