Sketching Meet Up: Enfield Shaker Museum Garden

Meet us at the Enfield Shaker Museum Gardens to sketch during golden hour. The herb garden at Enfield Shaker Museum contains a wide array of herbs arranged by categories–aromatic, medicinal, dye, and culinary. These herbs are examples of species that would have been grown and harvested not only by the Shakers, but also other nineteenth century Americans. Today, these gardens are maintained collaboratively by the Museum’s Garden Coordinator and dedicated volunteers.

We will meet in the gardens at 5:00, separate to sketch until 6:45, and then conclude with an opportunity to share sketches with the group and take pictures.

Please bring your own supplies to sketch or create art. You may wish to also bring a small stool or small chair. This group is open to all, including beginners. We look forward to meeting you and seeing your art!
