Content of this Class
• This class is aimed at confident sewers. Make a Memory Bear using cherished items of clothing a child has out grown or that evoke memories of a loved one.
• Learn how to select fabric pieces for maximum impact, lay and cut a pattern using different fabric types, how to apply interfacing, bear head and body construction, how to add personalization, eyes and finishing detail as required.
• Students can leave items to have personal messages added to garments in advance for a small fee
• 7 hours tuition, refreshments and all additional materials are provided, just bring your own sewing machine, sewing kit and clothing items. Note: Bring at least 6 items of adults clothing or 8 baby items to ensure variety and sufficiency. No open knits or silks.
• Full payment of £90 is required at the time of booking. Class numbers are limited to 6. Fist time students must make a bear, other animals available at addition classes.
• Cancellations Policy. Classes can be re-booked if cancelled with at least 7 days notice. With less than 48 hours, classes can only be re-booked if Just Sew Simple are able to re-book the place.
