MCF- Comedy Workshop: "I'm Obsessed With You" - Graham Dickson

The connection you have with your scene partner will define the success of your scene. In this workshop I'll try to convince you that everything you need for a successful scene is the faith and love that you have for your partner. We will be militant in our observations of them to discover offers we might miss otherwise. We'll get out of our heads by putting all of our attention on them. We'll devote ourselves to saying yes to their offers, even when it seems scary or illogical, and learn to relinquish control over where the scene is heading by investing in them fully. We will get obsessed with them.

Graham is the founder of The Free Association in London, the UK's leading improv theatre and school, and the co-founder of Austentatious, the critically acclaimed West End smash hit improvised show inspired by the works of Jane Austen. He also tours the UK and plays regularly in Kool Story Bro, This Doesn't Leave the Room and Graham & Steen with Steen Raskopoulos. Besides improv, he is an acclaimed actor and writer, appearing in the films All My Friends Hate Me and What's Love Got to do With It? and the TV shows Renegade Nell (Disney), After Life (Netflix) and Witchfinder (BBC).
