Stream Stomp & Nature Hike

June 21st at 10 A.M.- Beatty Park Stream Stomp and Nature Hike. John Boileigh, from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources will be our tour guide. Following the stomp and hike we will meet at the 2nd shelterhouse for a light lunch and an educational talk titled, "Ununsual Creatures Found in Jefferson County, Ohio, given by John. Wear boots, if wet or good hiking shoes. This is a two hour event.
Historic Beatty Park is a 99 acre nature park. It includes a stream that runs through the heart of the park about one mile. There are restrooms accessible along the hike.
Families with children are welcome and this event is pet friendly. ALL dogs must be leashed and friendly and pet owners are responsible for their clean up.
