The Faces of Tragedy: A Billboard Ceremony & Candlelight Vigil

Join us as we confront the drug epidemic and honor loved ones lost to fatal illicit substance poisonings/overdoses in Schuylkill County. The county's First Drug Awareness billboard to feature photos of loved ones lost to the drug epidemic will serve as the backdrop for this event, a powerful and stark reminder of the lives lost.

This impactful and heartfelt event will include:

* Powerful Stories of Strength: Hear firsthand accounts from families, individuals in recovery (including a special musical performance of an original song written by one of our speakers), and compassionate professionals on the front lines, all aimed at raising awareness. * Informational Resources: Access crucial informational materials from various agencies and organizations, offering guidance, support, and hope, helping to further awareness.

* Narcan Distribution: Free Narcan will be available, a crucial tool in combating overdoses and poisonings, and a way to raise awareness of prevention.

* Candlelight Vigil: A solemn and shared moment of remembrance and comfort, raising awareness through unity.
