MOIRA was founded in 2017 in Bielsko-Biała, southern Poland - a united and vibrant scene where social activism and underground music come together.
The diversity of the local scene is echoed in their sound, which mixes different influences and strains of hardcore, metal or punk. This sonic fusion is delivered with skill, expression and a sincere message that works at the personal and political interface. They bring top-notch heavy and dark, emotionally charged hardcore with an impressive stage presence.
In 2021, the band released their first album ‘Bi polar’ LP/CD, which was followed by many shows and festival appearances.
In 2024 their released 7-inch EP on Refuse Records. New LP is in the works.
