An Audience with Queen Elizabeth I

Here is a chance to meet Her Majesty at her political zenith and already an icon in an English psyche. This glittering presentation will transport the audience back to the time of Drake, Raleigh and Shakespeare on England’s voyage into the Renaissance presented by renowned English scholar, historian, heritage publicist and actress Lesley Smith. Known for her dramatic portrayals of historical characters in full costume, and has been Curator of Tutbury Castle in Staffordshire from 2000 to 2024. She is a specialist in Tudor history, and most of her characters relate to that period.
