*****THIS IS A PUBLIC EVENT*****
***INDOOR 180FPS MAX***

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
RULES:
- Please familiarise yourself with these and our game rules prior to attending an event (trust us, it will only make the event more enjoyable for YOU and will also mean less work for the admin team (which results in a more smoothly run event)
AGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum age is 11yrs and above.
- All under 18s need to be supervised by a parent/legal guardian at their first event.
- If you intend to allow your child/children to attend with another family, friend or carer (after your child has already been to their first event with a parent/legal guardian), then we will require signed written consent in advance of the child attending their next event and all responsibility for the child at Sydney Nerf events will fall to the nominated parent/carer/guardian on that signed document.
ARE YOU NEW?
- Your first event is free!
- Please ensure you still check in at the entry point, you fill out the same form as everyone else, but answering the questions correctly will equate to a $0 total upon completion.
- Please see an Admin for your pink NOOB headband for the day; this entitles you to one(1) extra respawn after sudden death is called, for every game on the day. You can also collect a NOOB headband for your next 2 events (if you wish).
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- Arrive (at least) 30mins earlier than the event start time so you have time to check in and pay the entry fee, setup all your gear, ask any questions and then load your mags before the Safety Briefing.
- Entry cost is currently $20 via Paypal (which is really just to cover all day dart hire), to be paid using the "Friends & Family" option, at the event. Please ensure your paypal account is verified and ready to use before you arrive. Cash is technically an option, but it's a real pain for us to handle so please avoid that if at all possible.
- Lunch is usually held around 12.30pm-1.30pm.
WHAT TO BRING:
- Eye protection! is absolutely mandatory at all Sydney Nerf events; please note that sunglasses/prescription glasses are NOT sufficient. ALL EYE PROTECTION MUST BE IMPACT RATED. If you do forget to bring your own; safety glasses/goggles can be purchased on the day for $5 each.
- Blasters, magazines and something to carry your darts/magazines when on the field (Please make sure the appearance of your blasters/tac gear adheres to the Sydney Nerf ruleset, found @ www.sydneynerf.com.au/rules)
- Water (and plenty of it!)
- Food for lunch, or money to buy some. Kellyville shops are about a 5min drive away
TOILETS:
- There are toilets available inside the sport complex
- PLEASE NOTE: Sydney Nerf admins will not transport anyone under the age of 18; the transportation and welfare of minors is the sole responsibility of the parent/guardian/nominated carer in attendance at the event.
DART HIRE:
**Relaxed rulesets are only for JBE and select indoor fields. Never assume an event has relaxed rules on clothing/blaster/gear appearances; the event details will always be posted in the facebook group in advance if this is the case, as well as in the details on the event page itself. Otherwise, all Sydney Nerf events are assumed to be in the public eye and thus adhere to our standard ruleset for the appearance of blasters, clothing and tac gear.
Feel free to post in the Facebook group or message an Admin if you have any concerns or need clarifications on any of the rules 🙂
