Springfield Missouri's Armored Combat Tournament

Buhurt, known as armored combat, is a full-contact fighting sport that involves participants wearing 100 pounds of steel and titanium armor and using blunt weapons. These weapons are designed to closely resemble their historical counterparts. This sport has gained international recognition, with teams training and competing in over 30 countries worldwide. The Iron Alliance, a team based in Springfield, Missouri, is inviting groups from across the United States to participate in the inaugural Southwest Missouri Armored Combat Tournament (SMACT). This event aims to raise awareness and funds for cancer research, as a portion of the proceeds will be donated directly to the V Foundation. Join us as we bring a literal fight against cancer!
