Hot Spot Collective Presents: PUNKADELICK
Punkadelick is a powerhouse trio fronted by internationally touring, award-winning percussionist Mike Dillon (Critters Buggin', Les Claypool, Rickie Lee Jones). Featuring longtime cohort Brian Haas (JFJO, Nolatet) on keys and the incomparable drummer Nikki Glaspie (Snarky Puppy, Beyoncé), this supergroup has released three albums and is touring in support of the recently released "Run White Boy Run," inspired by multiple brushes with the violent underbelly of American society.
The show will be held at AB's house in Waynesboro and will be a combination birthday party and inaugural Hot Spot Collective production. There is a suggested donation of $10, which will be collected throughout the day. If you can't afford it, come anyway. If you can afford more, give more. All proceeds go toward artist fees, production, and to Hot Spot Collective's mission to raise awareness of performance arts in Waynesboro and the surrounding region. There will be merch available. The event is BYOB.
