Why get involved in Rites of Passage?
Why do you need to go back to the past to move forward with your son or daughter?
To put it simply life right now is tough for our children AND for parents!
Children are being “forced” to grow up quicker, as the challenges and pitfalls of living in a digital age can affect their natural development and compromise personal growth and health.
We don’t need to look too far back in history to a time where there was a process where the village took young boys and girls through a transition ceremony marking the time for them becoming young men and women to ensure creating healthy caring, responsible and nurturing adults who would sustaining life for the community.
This process is called a Rites of Passage.
This residential training running from Friday night to Sunday afternoon is for anyone wanting to step into their leadership and make a difference in the world. We believe young
people are our future and deserve the opportunity for a Rite of Passage led by men and women in their community that support and encourage them to be the best possible version of themselves moving into adulthood.
This training teaches leadership methods, facilitation techniques and perspectives through the lens of Rite of Passage work.
Participants will learn how to work with group dynamics, be present with what shows up, and bring out the best in participants.
It is open to men and women 18 years and over wanting to support the growth and health of their community.
