Parent Network's "Autumn Grassland fungi and other wildlife" 9.30am-1.00pm
Join us on a walk and talk around the farm with Andy Karran from the Wildlife Trust, as he helps us with techniques to identify fungi of our very rare and wonderful Waxcaps here, in abundance at Ynys Hywel Farm. Help us survey the area and learn distinctive I.D. skills for our conservation efforts of this very bright and colourful species. We'll make note of other wildlife and species here on site.
You may want to bring your walking shoes/wellies. As we tour the site of Ynys Hywel Farm and Covid Memorial Woodland grounds.
Course includes a FREE Laminated FSC “Distinctive Grassland Fungi” Guides that you get to keep. (limited availability)
FREE refreshments teas and coffees included. FREE parking available on site.
Why not bring your packed lunch and stay all day for our allotment group in the afternoon 1.30pm-3.30pm.
This event is open to all and no need to book on.
