Once again, Byron IL will host the premier 1/4 mile Vintage Drag Racing event in the world. Come see old cars, and old friends, as we recreate a 1960βs drag meet. Enjoy the ride as we take you back to the early days of drag racing. We will celebrate our heroes still with us, and those that have taken the checkered flag. Whether itβs racing on the track, or on the bench, Meltdown 10 will be the place to be in 2026.
Registration will open Jan 1st, 2026 so keep your eye on that bulb! Detailed criteria will be released shortly, and due to the anticipated volume, will be strictly adhered to. Start your plans now, whether it be to race or to spectate, as the clock has started ticking towards Meltdown 10.
