In 2026, the Volcanic Epic finds its new home on the edge of the country’s only supervolcano – Lake Taupō.

A stage accessible only by helicopter, an exclusive ride into remote backcountry trails.
Remote native bushline rainforest trails
Challenging, rewarding stages – averaging 35km per day, culminating in an 82km Queen Stage that will push riders to their limits.
