Ranger Ultras’ Pennine Bridleway 50km Ultra. With generous timings and flexible start window, you choose the pace: An enjoyable run in the company of friends. Or go long, flat-out and feel the challenge as you try and set the best personal or overall race time of the day.
New Course for 2026 - A grand loop of classic trails in one day. Based out of the historic village of Hayfield. Taking in the Pennine Bridleway, Pennine Way and Limestone Way. A combination of fast trails, challenging ascents and superb Peak District scenery. The PB50 is a great opportunity for runners new to off-road, as well as a great middle-distance trail challenge for experienced athletes. Total ascent is 1840 metres.
The PB50 is a low-key race in the usual style of Ranger Ultras’ events. Self-navigating, but straightforward route finding with official Pennine Bridleway finger posts to help you along the way. We will also have our Ranger Ultras’ Safety Team support at HQ, and on-course.
Snacks and drink refreshments on-course and awaiting all runners arriving back at Hayfield.
