The Wall That Heals
Wall that Heals is coming to Antioch this July!
The Antioch American Legion Post 748 is honored to announce that we will be leading the "Escort Ride Captain", "In Memory", and "Ceremony" for the Wall That Heals while it is with us from July 17-20.
The wall that heals is a three-quarter scale Wall replica is 375 feet in length and stands 7.5 feet high at its tallest point. The traveling exhibit honors more than three million Americans who served in the U.S. Armed Forces in the Vietnam War and it bears the names if more than 52,281 men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in Vietnam.
This will be the Wall's only stop in Illinois before moving on to St. Louis. They will be looking for volunteers to assist with everything from escort, assembly, logistics, removal, and more. There are also a multitude of sponsorship opportunities to financially support the Wall's visit to Antioch.
