Introducing Mill Monster II!!

Weigh-ins will be:
Friday October 3rd 2pm-5pm
Saturday October 4th 8am-9am

Athlete meeting will be 9am and the comp will begin shortly after.

The events are:
Max Deadlift
Feed Bag Carry/Load
Viking Press
Head-to-Head Power Stairs Keg Load Series

Event #1 - Max Deadlift

On the command to lift, athletes will have 30 seconds to complete the lift. Athletes must be given a down call for the lift to count. Rising bar. Athletes may jump in and out as they choose. There will be no limits on attempts with 20-30lb weight jumps. Athletes will be out once they fail a lift or gives up. Respect the equipment. No dropping the bar from the top or your lift will be disqualified. No suits. Straps allowed. The final completed lift will count to your score.

Event #2 - Feed Bag Carry/Load

There will be ten 50lb feed bags stacked on a pallet. Athletes will carry and load them onto a pallet stack 25ft away. Athletes may carry the bags in any fashion they choose. Bags may also be carried in multiples. 60 second time limit. No throwing or sliding the bags. Drops are allowed but busted bags will result in a time penalty. All bags must stay on the pallet stack to finish. No tack of any kind. Fastest time wins.

Event #3 - Haystack Viking Press

Athletes will take their position and on command of go will take the weight and begin to press. Athletes will have 60 seconds to get as many reps as possible with the implement. Must get down call for reps to count. Respect the equipment. Do not let go from overhead.

Event #4 - Head-to-Head Power Stairs

Athletes will start on either side of the stairs with 2 pins each. On command of go, athletes will carry their first pin to the top of the stairs then go back down and carry up the second pin. 60 second time limit. Time stops when both pins are at the top of the stairs. Chalk allowed. No tack or straps. Fastest time wins.

Event #5 - Keg Load Series

There will be 5 kegs lined up. On command of go, athletes will load the kegs over the bar from lightest to heaviest. Chalk is allowed. No tack of any kind. 60 seconds to complete the series.

Tie Breaker Event - 3β€œ Axle Hold

In the event of a tie on the podium, athletes will deadlift and hold the 3” axle for as long as possible. No straps. No mixed grip. Must stay in lockout. Chalk allowed. No tack of any kind. Longest time wins.

Strongman Corporation membership is required for all competitors and can be purchased online at https://strongmancorporation.com/memberships/. Please note that USS and Strongman Corporation are not the same, and you will need a Strongman Corporation membership for this competition.

Nationals bids will be awarded in Open classes based on the number of athletes in each class as follows:
- 1 athlete in a class: the promoter may merge the class with another class; if the athlete competes alone they will earn an invite by completing (i.e. not β€œzeroing”) at least 4 of the 5 events to the standards originally set forth by the promoter.
- 2-4 athletes in a class: 1st place qualifies for Nationals
- 5-9 athletes in a class: 1st and 2nd place qualify for Nationals
- 10+ athletes in a class: 1st-3rd place qualify for Nationals

Masters Athletes qualify for America's Strongest Master by placing in the top 3 of a Masters class *or* in the top 5 of an Open class.

Teens qualify for America's Strongest Teen by participating in a Teen, Novice, or Open division.

This is an indoor competition but not climate controlled. Spectators are welcome but space is limited. There will be some spectator seating and a designated area for spectators. The event floor is for athletes only. Respect the facility.
