The Life of John Broady: American Patriot - VA250

John the Mt. Pleasant Preservation Society and Museum on June 22nd, 2025 in celebrating VA250! This event will honor the life of John Broady, enslaved man and patriot who accompanied William Campbell at the Battle of King's Mountain. John Broady's direct descendant, Arthur "Scrapper" Broady, will portray his ancestor and give a presentation on his history. This event is presented by the Mt. Pleasant Preservation Society, but will take place at the Lincoln Theatre.
