Start your2025 Homecoming Weekend off right and join us for a fun-filled day of running, beer, and good vibes at Firehouse Bar!
In days of old, the Firehouse Bar hosted the Chief's Run - a killer 10K loop that remains a sweet memory for many Washburn locals and visitors. Now, after decades have passed, we're bringing back the fun run, with a slight change to the route. Lace up your running shoes - we've mapped out an awesome 5k-ish course that starts and ends at the Firehouse. Run, walk, jog, skip, mosey...whatever suits your fancy, before celebrating with a well-deserved beverage at the finish line.
Whether you're a seasoned runner, you're just looking for a fun way to stay active, or you're being dragged into it by a well-meaning friend, this event is fun for all!
We’ll be passing out Busch Lattes at 1/2 way and after crossing the finish line, reward yourself with a cold one at the bar (NA/CBD/Soda/Delta-9 are all alt. options). Nothing beats the feeling of accomplishment and the taste of a refreshing brew! (Participants: first round is on us!) And don’t forget to stick around for the raffle prizes!
