9th annual tube the Poudre trip!
Join us for another unforgettable float down the Poudre River! If you haven't tubed with us before, here are the essentials to know:
🚨 Must-Haves 🚨
✅ Water Shoes or Old Sneakers – NO FLIP FLOPS! They’ll disappear instantly.
✅ Your Own Tube – Pick one up before meeting us! You can find $18 tubes at Walgreens, King Soopers, Jax, Big 5, or REI.
✅ Air Pump – If you have an extra, bring it along!
📍 Meeting Spot & Route
Meet at 12 PM at the large abandoned parking lot across from New Belgium.
From there, we'll carpool to the drop spot at Shields and float back to New Belgium.
We need two types of cars:
🚕 Tuber Taxi (trucks are ideal)– Take tubes and tubers to the drop spot.
🚙 Driver Droppers– Only Tuber Taxi DRIVERS need a ride back to the drop spot to retrieve their vehicles.
☀️ At the Drop Spot (Shields Street River Access): Apply sunscreen, inflate tubes, and get ready to float!
🎒 Checklist:
👙 Swimsuit
☀️ Sunblock
🦟 Bug spray
👟 Water shoes (No flip flops!)
👛 Dry bag
🌵 Towel
⭕ Tube (Most important!)
🛠️ Tube repair kit (accidents happen!)
💦 Water bottle
🔹 Optional (but may get lost in the river!):
🧢 Hat
🕶️ Sunglasses
This event is organized for friends and highly recommended 21+ only! But the river is a public space, so anyone can join in on the fun!
