Welcome to Afro Vibe Fest, Thunder Bay’s first Afro-centric cultural, music and arts festival! Set to make history, this two-day event will celebrate the vibrant rhythms, culture, and diversity of Afro music, arts, and community. The event will kick-off with a colourful parade of Afro people dressed up in cultural and ceremonial attire with majorettes performing, led by people on two Afro-styled horses from Waverley Park, down Red River Rd and into Marina Park. We will have two stages of entertainment:

- 6-time Juno Award winning reggae artist Exco Levi with his band High Priest
- Djembe practitioner Ngasseu Kamga from Toronto
- African cultural performances
- Local DJs, dancers, drummers, and spoken word artists
- Celebration of inclusion speeches by local dignitaries

Other activities include:
- Afro hair braiding demo, Djembe drumming workshop, crafters, speed dating
- Kid’s Corner with Afro games and face painting
- Food and craft/service booths of local businesses from Thunder Bay and the surrounding region

Saturday, July 12th: 12 pm to 12 am
Sunday, July 13th: 12 pm to 7 pm
