85th W**d Show Twentynine Palms Historical Society

The W**d Show is one of Twentynine Plams' oldest and most unique artistic traditions. This Annual display, now in its eighth decade, features artistic arrangements ofindigenous desert vegetation as well as fond objects, both natural and man made. A desert rendition of the tradtional concept of floral display, the W**d Show hightlights the beauty of the local flora and the inventiveness of participants, and the history and culture of Twentynine Palms itself. Each show follows a specific theme. Entries are judeged on subject matter, use of desert vegetation, use of accessories, artistic compostion and originality. Awards are granted in thirteen categories, with Peoples Choice award to be decided by visitors to the exhibition and Judeges Favorites.
