Are you Smart than a 4th Grader? (Redlands ABC Tour)

Bus tour of historical spots in town, just like the ones Redlands’ fourth-grade students take every year. Tour guests will meet at Historic Asistencia, enjoy light refreshments, and board a school bus for a narrated tour of all of the sites illustrated in Redlands Conservancy’s book, “R is for Redlands.” Guests will see, hear about, and visit the sites of the places and people that made Redlands, from the earliest still-standing location – Mill Creek Zanja – to the Redlands Bowl, including some of the open spaces as well as the closed doors behind which the deals were made. Lunch at Asistencia will be ready at the end of the tour, where guests will enjoy a “school lunch” like none other. They can expect adult upgrades like chocolate martinis instead of chocolate milk, gourmet grills instead of America cheese on white bread, and gourmet tomato soup and Redlands Conservancy’s version of iceberg lettuce salad. And did we mention, there will be a quiz! At the end of the tour, each guest will receive a copy of “R is for Redlands,” written and illustrated by Redlands artists Anneli Pendley and Jennifer Bryant, with text by Kevin Bryant.
