The Fredericton Therapeutic Riding Association is hosting a Volunteer Information Session for those interested in helping out with our amazing programs!
The training includes:
- A tour of the facilities
- An information session on who we are and what we do
- Hands-on practice side-walking and emergency dismounts
Although very limited, we do have some requirements for our volunteers:
- Minimum age of 14
- Commitment to regular attendance
- No fear of horses
- Reasonable level of fitness
Training is provided on site by our CanTRA certified instructor. Vulnerable Sector and Criminal Record Checks are required for anyone 18 and older. We would love to show you how you can help make a difference in your community! Join us, see what we're all about!
