FLOATING CASTLE FESTIVAL, 7.-10.8.25

An international site-specific festival where music, puppetry, scenography, street theatre, dance, circus, and culinary arts come alive in the forests and meadows surrounding Snežnik Castle. A place where local meets global—a melting pot of international artists and performers jamming, creating, and unveiling new spectacles over four magical days and three unforgettable nights.

Floating Castle
… a world on a floating stage, jazz echoing in a cave, electronica pulsing through the woods, puppets whispering in the castle dungeon, circus nouveau by the creek, and contemporary dance poised on ancient boulders.
… a wooden carousel spinning in the courtyard, a procession of towering puppets, a horse-drawn wagon with a brass band, knightly tournaments, and a forge of creativity.
… an extravagant spectacle with a 100-member orchestra or an intimate show for one.
