The 3rd Annual Extra CARicular Activity Car Show & Swap Meet

The Acorn Shakers Car Club is hosting the annual Extra CARicular Activity Car, Bike, & Model Car Show & Swap Meet Sunday October 26th from 1-5pm to raise money for the T-bucket kit car project an Oaks Academy STEAM Projects. The Oaks Academy is part of the Cherokee County Schools of Innovation at 4700 E. Hwy 64 Alt. In Murphy, NC. This show is one of Cherokee County, NC's largest and is sure to be a great time. There are acres of flat land for the swap meet, plenty of paved parking for the hundreds of hot rods and cool customs that come out to support the coolest students this side of the Mississippi. There will be a slew of food trucks to satisfy anyone's hunger and plenty of entertainment to keep everyone happy. The students make the many different trophies from vintage trophies and they do all the judging to pick the many winners. Car and bike entries are just $10 and the model car contest is just $5 and handled by Paradise Road Hobby. Swap meet spaces are just $20. The best part is that 100% of the money raised goes to help the students build hot rods and other STEAM related trips and projects.
