Sea to Summit Triathlon is not your typical triathlon—it’s an endurance adventure. Starting at Gooch’s Beach, athletes will swim 1.2 miles, bike 95 miles through Maine and New Hampshire with 6,000 feet of climbing, and run/hike 5.5 miles to the summit of Mount Washington, the tallest peak in the Northeast.

This race is self-supported—each competitor must have a designated porter to assist with logistics. With only 125 slots available, it’s designed for experienced endurance athletes who meet strict qualification standards.

Race Day: February 1, 2025
• Swim: 1.2 miles in the Atlantic
• Bike: 95 miles with steep climbs
• Run: 5.5 miles up 4,300 feet of elevation to the summit

A one-of-a-kind challenge—from the ocean to the highest point in New England. Only serious athletes need apply.
