Log Art Theatre Presents-The Lightbearer

In the smallest of towns in the Appalachian foothills of Western Maryland is a sleepy burg near the Mason-Dixon line forgotten and untouched by time. The United Methodist Church is the place where anybody who knows anybody who knows anything about everything comes to worship. This church is where the Lightbearer was established as an outreach program to provide clothing to the naked, food to the hungry, hope to the hopeless, and cheer to the downtrodden. Over the years, the character members have been "going home to be with Jesus" and the remaining ranks are not having much luck attempting to recruit the younger crowd. There are only five of the regular members now left. Five women. Holding the organization... and each other together...now.
