Santa's Coming to Downtown Ripon

Kick off the holiday season and discover Ripon, Wisconsin’s unique shops and restaurants during the annual Christmas in the Village event which takes place on Friday and Saturday, November 14-15, 2025. Those strolling up and down the sidewalks will find unique gifts, clothing, jewelry, furniture and more.

Friday, November 14

Friday night activities include a visit by Santa at the Village Green located at the corner of Watson and Seward Street in downtown Ripon. Santa is scheduled to arrive in downtown Ripon at approximately 6:00 pm, guided into the district aboard the Ripon Fire Department ladder truck. Santa will light the decorations on the bandstand and greet those in attendance.

Christmas in the Village Schedule:

Shop Late - Participating Stores Open Until 8:00 pm
6:00 pm – Santa Arrives downtown
6:00 to 8:00 pm – Visit Santa at the Village Green


Saturday, November 15

Activities planed for Saturday include a visit by Santa and a Live Reindeer Display at the Village Green, an ice sculpting demonstration on The Square, and carriage rides through the historic district. Activities take place outdoors. Please dress appropriately.

Shopping All Day – Most Stores Open Until 5 pm
11 am to 1 pm – Visit Santa at the Village Green
11 am to 1 pm - Ice Carving Demonstration on The Square
Noon to 4 pm – Reindeer at the Village Green
2 to 4 pm – Carriage Rides along Watson Street
