This summer, getaway to the Ozarks for the Bluegrass & Fried Chicken festival in scenic Mountain View, Arkansas for two days of timeless music and good old-fashioned fun on August 22-23, 2025, at the Ozark Folk Center State Park.
Bluegrass & Fried Chicken includes a Friday evening concert, a Saturday matinee, and a Saturday evening performance at Ozark Highlands Theater. Tickets include free admission to the center's artisan Craft Village for live music sets, craft demos, and family fun from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Performers include SPGMA's 2025 Instrumental Group of the Year and the IBMA's 2024 New Artist of the Year East Nash Grass, Sprillwater Drive, Casey & The Atta Boys, 5 South and more!
The park's hilltop restaurant, The Skillet, will serve its fried chicken buffet in-between bluegrass shows at the Ozark Folk Center's 1,000-seat indoor music venue, Ozark Highlands Theater, on Friday and Saturday. (All-you-can-eat buffets are sold separately at the restaurant.)
