INTECOL Wetlands conference 2025

The INTECOL Wetlands 2025 Conference is an international conference organised by the University of Tartu’s Department of Geography together with INTECOL Internation Association for Ecology. During the last week of June 2025, everyone working on the science, practice, and policy of wetlands will come together in Tartu, Estonia, to share knowledge and discuss the future of European wetlands. This year, the conference will take place together with the 20th Annual Meeting of SWS Europe.

The versatile programme includes sessions that cover social and economic aspects, biochemistry, hydrology, wetlands ecology and biodiversity, tropical wetlands, use of wetland ecosystems, wetland restoration, wetland monitoring and peatlands. It offers an opportunity to foster the exchange of ideas, knowledge, and experiences among researchers and practitioners from across Europe.
