What are the wetlands? What is a fen? Why are they important? Your homeschoolers will learn these answers and so much more as they explore on of Greene County's hidden gems. Starts at 10am sharp. If you're late, go find us.
Bring your homeschool groups outside for hands-on science designed for all ages. Two programs are designed just for homeschoolers. They are called Homeschool Science Days and Homeschool Science Days DISCOVERY HIKES.
Homeschool Science Days are station-based with various fun, educational activities. These are drop in programs that begin at 10 am and go to noon. Please plan to arrive no later than 11:30 in order to have time to enjoy the activities.
Homeschool Science Days DISCOVERY HIKES last 90 minutes and cover seasonal topics such as wildflowers, habitats, animal tracking and more. These discovery hikes are guided and will leave promptly at 10 am. Late guests will have to catch up. The hikes end at 11:30 am.
Dress for the weather. This program will be entirely outdoors, rain or shine. There is a chance that participants may get muddy.
At least one adult must be present with each homeschool group.
Registration is no longer needed for the homeschool educational series.
