Welcome to Overnewton Castle, a Scottish Baronial style Homestead built-in 1849. Situated in Keilor Village, 20 mins drive from Melbourne CBD, this four acre estate was built by William Taylor, a prominent early settler to the area.
Enjoy the ultimate in old world grace and charm with a three tiered high tea lunch in the Grand Ballroom or Sherry Room with the option to add a guided historic tour of the venue to your visit.
Upon arrival at your table, you will be greeted by a glass of sparkling wine, followed by a selection of savoury pastries, English tea sandwiches, petit fours and freshly baked scones, served with free flowing tea & coffee.
Complete your visit with a 90 minute guided tour of the venue & gardens (11am or 2:30pm). Explore this 35 room estate with a knowledgeable guide, sharing fascinating stories about the architecture, families that lived there and local history.
