Join us for the biggest running and walking day in North America! Trot with us in Anchorage or virtually from anywhere! Gather your friends and family for the holiday and run, walk, jog, or hobble on a unique, 2-lap course from ChangePoint and The Dome in midtown Anchorage. With a 5K or a 2.4K, we have a distance for everyone. Stick around as we give age class winner a fresh pie, then head off to your Thanksgiving dinner!
The Turkey Trot is one of our favorite events and is our largest event! Add this tradition to your family's holiday plan and help support Food Bank of Alaska!
We made some big changes in 2024 moving the Turkey Trot to the ChangePoint/Dome area. This is the current plan for 2025. However, we'll continue to attempt to secure traffic control for our classic downtown course so we can celebrate from the Dena'ina Center. Updates will be provided as we have details.
2025 goal: $20,000 and 1,000 pounds of food!
