The Seneca Allegany Iroquois Dancers are a family of traditional Seneca singers and dancers who perform throughout the US and Canada, demonstrating our music, dances and culture to audiences of all ages.

The Seneca Allegany Iroquois Dancers are a family of Hodinöhšö:ni:h singers and dancers who travel nationwide and internationally to perform our traditional songs and dances for audiences of all ages and all walks of life. Our performances showcase slow as well as fast paced dances, borrowed dances, and the ever-popular competition style dance known as the smoke dance. We use our songs and dances to educate the general public of native people and their existence, worldviews, history, culture, and language. During our performances you can expect multiple opportunities for audience participation. After our performances, we enjoy mingling, answering questions, and posing for photos with members of the audience.

John Block, the coordinator of the dance group, is a speaker, singer, and conductor of ceremonies and social events within the Cold Spring longhouse community. He has emceed numerous events called powwows and is employed at the Faithkeepers’ School as a language and culture teacher. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WmhFMBFSlWk
