Grab your headlamp & let's hit the trails!
The Running Kind presents a rugged nighttime event, Blackout! This 10K course will traverse the technical, mountainous terrain covering over 1000ft of vert at South Mountain in Emmaus, PA. Things will kick off at dusk & runners will take on the night!
In 2025, we will offer a "Lights On” edition of Blackout. Runners can choose to complete the 10K starting at 5PM before darkness encroaches… or you can get crazy and do both!
We will be donating to Wildlands Conservancy for this event.
Sunset time: 6:38PM
Lights On starts at 5PM
Blackout starts at 6:30PM
Registration opens December 5th at 8PM.
