Emily's ride is one close to our hearts. Emily, at 7 weeks old, became a victim of child abuse. Her injuries were life threatening, and after 3 weeks at Riley, she defined all of the doctors' predictions and was released. However, she was left with many life altering effects. This doesn't keep her from being one of the happiest 4 year olds we know.
She gives amazing cuddles and loves music. She is so smart and has shocked all of us in how far she has come in these years after all the prognosis the doctors gave.
With your support and joining in this ride, we, as a community of riders, can help her family raise funds for a wheelchair accessible vehicle. This would greatly help getting Emily to and from her doctor, OT and PT therapy appointments.
