2025 Bird-in-Hand Half Marathon

Named among the top races in the country by active.com and recognized by Runner’s World Magazine, the Bird-in-Hand Half Marathon and 5k provide runners with a truly unique and memorable experience in the picturesque farmlands of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. More than 2,000 runners from around the world come to be a part of the BIH Half.
Join us in 2025! The Kids Fun Run will take place Friday, September 5th at 6:10pm, the 5k will take place on Friday, September 5th at 6:30pm and the Half Marathon will follow on Saturday, September 6th at 7:30am.
Additionally, don’t miss our pre-race Pizza and Pasta party on Friday, Sept 5th from 4-8pm and our Bonfire/s’mores party from 7:30-9pm. Finally, this annual event will culminate in a Community Picnic event from 10am-Noon on Saturday, September 6.
