This is the ultimate clinic with a day on horsemanship skills, a day working on trail & obstacles, and the final day on cow working. You will get to experience 3 fun packed days designed to help you build a better partnership with your horse. You will learn how to be your horse’s leader and develop a connection with your horse. From practical skills like dragging a log to cutting a cow, you are sure to walk away feeling more confident. The clinic is limited to 12 riders. Be sure to pre-register to save your spot. What you can expect to learn from each day?

Friday - Horsemanship skills
Ever wonder what your horse could feel like at his best? Find out how you can develop a relaxed, willing partner in your horse. You will learn how to cultivate connection with your horse so that they want to be with you. This foundation sets you up for the next 2 days.

Saturday - Trails & Obstacles
You will get practical experience crossing creeks and obstacles of all kinds! We talk through how to handle situations that may be stressful for you or your horse on the trail. You will learn how to show up as your horse’s leader.

Sunday - Cow Working
You will learn the basics of how to develop an all-around handy horse. You will get the opportunity to sort cattle and learn how to cut & hold a cow. This gives you and your horse the chance to apply all the skills you’ve developed over the clinic to use. This is a ton of fun! You won’t want to miss it!

Come to 1,2, or all 3 days.

Price: $750/rider for the weekend or $250/rider/day
Auditors are welcome at $50/day.

Who is this clinic for?
This is designed for the beginner to intermediate rider that wants to build their skills and their horse’s confidence in different situations. You will learn how to read your horse’s body language and how to show up as your horse’s leader inside & outside the arena.

About your Instructor:
As a horse development specialist, Matea Babcock understands horse psychology and can help to fast track your progress. Her experience lies in the foundation, where all issues start. She works to get you and your horse on the same page. With her natural approach to horse training, she can help you develop your horse while keeping the relationship intact. She’s also a certified NVRHA (National Versatility Ranch Horse Association) judge. Her experience in the horse industry ranges from colt starting, and trail riding green horses to training gaited horses, and cow horses. She’s ridden in tough country from the Continental Divide in CO to trails in Montana. Using her knowledge and experience, she strives to help you develop the skills and confidence you need to be successful with your horse.
