A reunion is being planned for Verdi residents, past and present. If you weren’t a Verdi resident, but wish you were, then consider yourself invited.
The first ever Verdi reunion was held in June 1979 and as a result of that reunion, money was raised to turn our Verdi school grounds into the Verdi Community grounds and a building was constructed.
A Verdi History book was put together in 1997-98, compiling family’s history & stories that were submitted. We would like to expand on this history book by offering new residents the opportunity to add their families to our history book, but we want to go a step further. We want to ask all members of Verdi to share stories that they may have about anything Verdi!
Our intention is to have scanners at the reunion so that we may make copies of photos and stories to incorporate into our present Verdi History Book, making it even better!
BUT WE ALSO would like to ask any of our members to share those stories NOW - on this page - bringing the written story to the reunion OR emailing it to us at any time to MTk1MHN1cmJhZCB8IGdtYWlsICEgY29t
Everything is preliminary at this point, with the main focus to get the word out to Verdians near & far to save the date.
