The morning after the 3rd Annual Great Smoky Mountain Bronco Stampede Event, Turn Offroad will host a special ride called "BRONCOS STAMPEDE THE COVE". The Cades Cove Loop Trail is the most popular scenic drive in all of the GREAT SMOKY MOUNTAINS, so you don't want to miss it! We will meet at 11:00am on August 17th at the Great Smoky Mountain Heritage Center 123 Cromwell Dr, Townsend, TN 37882 and leave at 12 pm.
The scenic driving tour through the Cades Cove Loop takes approximately two to four hours depending on traffic. Because it’s a single-lane road, be prepared to stop frequently—the slow pace makes it easy to enjoy the amazing mountain landscapes, wildflower meadows and diverse wildlife. Halfway through the Loop, you can make stop at the Visitors Center where photo opportunities are ample and restrooms are available. The water-powered mill near the Visitor Center is a must-see, as well. There is no rush thru the loop and you can break away from the convoy at anytime to stop
and picnic or check out the old cabins and churches.
